How to Read your Annual Rate Letter
BWC mails your annual rate letter at the end of April to inform you of the following for the upcoming policy year:
- Installment Schedule
- Estimated Annual Payroll
- Experience Modifier
We encourage you to review and email us if you need to make any modifications to the estimates before May 15th.
How to Complete Your Annual True-up
This is an important piece of your Ohio BWC program. Many payroll service vendors may complete for employers for a fee. At this time the BWC requires you to report the gross payroll for the prior policy year.
The Annual Payroll True-up opens July 1st of each year and employers must report/pay balances before August 15th of each year.
Failure to report and/or pay the balances related to your annual true-up will result in removal of any/all Group discount/rebate plans for up to 2 years.
